Automobili Lamborghini recently announced the release of the Huracán STJ, a limited-edition series of only ten units, signifying the last homage to its iconic V10 super sports car. This edition is celebrated for encapsulating the zenith of the V10 engine’s legacy, a pivotal part of Lamborghini’s storied heritage that has significantly contributed to the Huracán family’s success since its introduction in 2014. The Huracán family will see its succession by the end of the year with a new super sports car model that incorporates a hybrid powertrain, marking a new era for Lamborghini.

The design of the Huracán STJ is based on the Huracán STO, representing the ultimate level of performance realized within the Huracán lineage. This achievement is attributed to an exclusive performance enhancement package designed to amplify the Huracán STO’s racing essence. The name STJ stands for Super Trofeo Jota, with “Super Trofeo” honoring Lamborghini’s single-brand championship initiated in 2009, and “Jota” referencing both the Appendix J of the FIA Regulations, which dictates the specifications for racing cars, and Lamborghini’s tradition of crafting models for the track, beginning with the Miura SVJ and extending to the Aventador SVJ.

Distinctively, the Huracán STJ is characterized by its specialized aerodynamic package, a product of the expertise of Lamborghini Squadra Corse technicians. This package builds upon the advanced aerodynamics of the STO with the introduction of the “cofango” and two novel carbon fiber aerodynamic components (flicks), enhancing the vehicle’s aerodynamic efficiency. Additionally, the rear wing’s angle has been adjusted to increase by 3° compared to the standard model, resulting in a 10% rise in aerodynamic load while maintaining the vehicle’s balance.

Powering the Huracán STJ is the same 640 CV at 8000 rpm and 565 Nm torque at 8000 rpm as the STO, managed by a 7-speed dual-clutch (LDF – Lamborghini Doppia Frizione) gearbox and directed exclusively to the rear wheels. The vehicle’s mechanical grip is notably improved through the use of four adjustable racing-derived shock absorbers that replace the standard active components. These shock absorbers, adjustable in four ways, allow for detailed optimization of rebound and compression settings at both high and low frequencies based on track conditions. This adjustment capability enables the use of softer springs while preserving dynamic car control and augmenting steering precision.

To further enhance driving dynamics, the Huracán STJ is equipped with special Bridgestone Potenza Race tires, crafted with a high-grip compound and mounted on 20” single-nut rims, contributing to a lap time improvement of over one second on the Nardò Technical Center Handling Track compared to the Huracán STO.

The aesthetic appeal of the Huracán STJ mirrors its sporty and exclusive nature, offering two distinct configuration and livery options meticulously designed by Lamborghini Centro Stile. The first option pairs Grigio Telesto (gray) bodywork with a Nero Noctis (black) roof, complemented by Rosso Mars (red) and Bianco Isi (white) details, while the cabin features Nero Cosmus (black) Alcantara seats accented with leather details and Rosso Alala (red) stitching.

The second option features Blu Eliadi (blue) bodywork with analogous Nero Noctis (black) roof and accent details. Both configurations are distinguished by a special, numbered carbon fiber plate indicating “1 of 10”, and offer the possibility for customers to include a custom plate on the passenger side with personalized inscriptions, further enhancing the exclusivity of this limited-edition series.
